--Pipian de Gallina = chicken

DID you cooked amazing simple mexican rice but you dont know what to put beside it on your table?????

Chicken and beef are the most common meat used in mexican authentic food

SO dont be confused if you invited people to lunch and you promised them for tasting apure authentic mexican dishes

Here's the dish which will make you hungry just for reading the recipe :D

Pipian de Gallina








Ingredients -



**1 whole chicken, simmered until **tender with bay leaf, chili and garlic


**¼ cup masa flour.....
You can buy it masa flour from a Mexican grocery store

**½ lb pumpkin seeds you
can substitute squash seeds for the pumpkin seeds if you want



**1 quart chicken broth (from after you've cooked the chicken)

**2 tablespoons cooking oil

**4 dry red chilies

**2 cloves garlic





Preparation:


this recipe is going to seve about 6 dishes


Brown the flour, seeds, garlic, and chilies in the cooking oil



. Grind this mixture together to make a paste.



Stir in the broth and simmer for five minutes



. Cut the chicken and add the pieces to this broth. Simmer for three more minutes until become thick and serve hot.



I became hungry :( I'm gonna get something to eat
